I am a fully qualified, approved driving instructor (ADI). Having successfully completed all the qualifying exams set by the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), I regularly undergo Continual, Professional, Development (CPD) to keep up to date with the latest teaching / coaching techniques and issues regarding road safety. I have also successfully undergone an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check, which is now a requirement to stay on the DSA’s register of instructors.
I am also a Qualified Vauxhall Young Driver Trainer.The Vauxhall Young Driver Training Scheme is based at Brent Cross shopping centre where children aged between 10 and 17 can learn to drive in a safe environment (off road) on a course which is specifically designed to develop basic car control skills.

Become eligible to take the Motor Vehicle Administration Commercial Vehicle License Class B skills test. Training includes: defensive driving certification, railroad and safety belt training, log books, hours of service regulations, map reading and trip planning, skid control and recovery, winter driving, accident procedures, road rage, construction zones, and work safety. On road driving training consists of city, rural, and night driving. Training also includes federal motor carrier safety regulations – entry level driving training.

Students must be at least 18 years of age, pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screening, possess a valid driver's license, have no more than three points on your driving record, and maintain zero points for drug or alcohol violations to participate in this training. Students must also be willing to participate in random drug and/or alcohol testing.
In order to register for this training, you must submit a current copy of your driving record with a pre-registration application and attend an orientation prior to the first class.

TRA-7610 CDL - Class B with Passenger/ School Bus Part I
This course is the first of a two part program designed to give the student the required knowledge to earn a Class B commercial drivers license with passenger / school bus endorsement. The course introduces the student to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and industry standards required for operating commercial straight trucks and buses. The student is introduced to the required areas of study to obtain a commercial class B learners permit for trucks and buses: General knowledge and air brakes including the passenger and school bus endorsement. Training includes: railroad and safety belt training, skid control and recovery and winter driving. Range / off road training will be conducted at CSM's Center for Transportation training. Range training includes: putting the vehicle in motion, backing, off-set alley, parallel parking and vehicle inspection. On road driver training consists of beginning practices in city, rural and multi-lane driving.
TRA-7620 CDL - Class B with Passenger/ School Bus Part II
This course is the second of a two part program designed to give the student the required knowledge to earn a Class B commercial drivers license with passenger / school bus endorsement. Training includes: defensive driving certification, log books, hours of service regulations, map reading, trip planning, accident procedures, road rage, construction zones and work safety. Range / off road training will be conducted at CSM's Center for Transportation training. Range training includes: putting the vehicle in motion, backing, off-set alley, parallel parking and vehicle inspection. On road driver training consists of city, rural and multi-lane driving. Training concludes with students having three attempts to pass the CDL Class B passenger / school bus MVA exam.
TRA-7500 Simulated Road Hazards Defensive Driving
This class is part of a series of courses for the Commercial Truck Driver Training Program - Class A program. It is designed to help the driver comprehend road hazards using defensive driving
skills that can saves lives in spite of the conditions around them or the actions of others. Training is done in the classroom while using simulation as well as group discussions on road hazards. A certified trainer will guide the student through a variety of driving scenarios in a safe simulated environment using the latest simulator technology. This training enhances the driver's skills while allowing practical real world training on different roadways, terrains and conditions. This class will reinforce critical situation awareness and positive decision making in a safe controlled environment.
Prerequisite: TRA-7400 CDL Advanced Skills and Road Development
TRA-7540 CDL Restriction Removal Training
This course is designed to give the current Commercial Driver License holder the required knowledge and skills to have the automatic transmission and air brakes restrictions moved for their Commercial Driver's License. The course introduces the student to standard transmissions and air brake operations of a commercial vehicle. Students will learn shift development and handling of commercial vehicles on a private training range as well as traffic situations on public roads. Range training will include: Vehicle Inspections including the air brake system of a commercial vehicle. Range training will be conducted at CSM's Center for Transportation Training. On road driver training consists of beginning practices in city, rural and multi-lane driving. Training concludes with students testing to pass the CDL Class B MVA exam to remove restrictions for air brakes and automatic transmission.
